Backyard Beauty and Bulls

Even on a cloudy day, Fall in the Great Smoky Mountains is a breathtakingly spectacular season. It’s one of the attractions which enticed nearly 12 million visitors last year, making it our Nation’s most visited National Parks.

Yesterday Ellie and I traveled upward through this awesome color-fest to Kuwohi (formerly Klingman’s Dome), rising 6,643 ft. on the TN/NC border … beauty on steroids 11.0

Descending 4,000 ft. to Cherokee, NC, bull elk gathered were gathering their harems, bugling love was in the air … boys on hormones 11.0

Here’s a pictorial smidgen of the beauty and the bulls we we’re blessed to enjoy , all within 50 miles of our backyard … the ‘ole bull’ pic proves not all bulls are normally aggressive😊
