Seeing God

Recently the sun has taken a hiatus behind the clouds, and Ellie and I took a short ride up the road for dinner. The food was scrumptious, but the cloudy day mountain vistas catered a celestial feast for the eyes no earthly menu could ever describe or serve up.

The Good Book tells us, “No one has ever seen God” – 1 John 4:12 – but gazing out over creation draped in cloud shrouded wonder my soul wordlessly rejoiced … and I caught mystical glimpse of my all loving, merciful, forgiving, omnipotent Abba.

Sing to God, sing in praise of His name, extol Him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before Him – His name is LORD …” – Psalm 68:4

Here’s an appetizer of what us ole duffers enjoyed digesting on our dinner date … and all no-cal 😊

We R Blessed … May U B 2
