Yesterday I accompanied my permanent girlfriend for a ride aboard the Senior Shuttle from her rehab facility to UTMC for a follow-up evaluation with her surgeon. Gratefully, the X-rays revealed her fractured humerus in beginning to heal …PTL! (thisX-ray pic doesn’t appear very ‘humerus’ to me 😊)

God never has, never will make a mistake. He uses them. These past few weeks have once again proven that.
As we spend time alone together in her room each day, 3 ‘Mistake’ blessings keep coming to mind:
- It was no ‘mistake’ my Abba chose the lady next to me to accompany and draw me closer to Him as we travel this life’s journey together.
2. It was no ‘mistake’ He chose a broken bone (Why not mine?) to remind my impulsive ADHD nature to slow down; be more attentive to her needs; relinquish my plans to His; and “Be still and know that I am God.” – Psalms 46:10
3. It was no ‘mistake’ that, for over 8 decades, He has lovingly spared me from the permanent, suffering, bedridden fate of so many I see passing by open doors in the nursing facility … but for His incomprehensible Grace alone am I!
Pondering these thoughts on the drive back home last evening, a drenching thunderstorm suddenly engulfed the landscape. I’m ever amazed how the Spirit so often chooses to reveal God’s never-ending goodness to me and reinforce my faith in unexpected ways, and this flashed Scripture to mind . . .
“At that time people will see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And He will send His angels and gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of the heavens.” – Mark 13:26-27
. . . and then He prompted me to take my own advice and . . . Look Up ^
I pulled off the side of the highway and snapped this pic of His visual assurance that in life’s storms and ‘mistakes’. . . in His way and His time . . . will have a perfect result. Thank you Lord!

Keep Looking Up ^ . . . His Best is Yet to Come!
