Snow-er-cise

Other than the Smoky Mountain’s peaks, unlike the Last Frontier, snow is not a frequent meteorological phenomenon in TN. Yesterday winter showed up and we were blanketed in 4 inches of snowflakes . . . Beautiful!

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said,

Do not go where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

One of the ‘unique’ features of our secluded abode up here on the mountain – down in the ‘holler; – over the ‘crick’ is it’s 1/10th mile long, 30-degree sloped driveway. When we receive a rare snowfall it replaces my NordicTrack as an exercise machine, prompting a revised version of Emerson’s quote . . .

“Do not go where the snow may lead. Instead grab a snow scoop and clear the driveway!”

I’ll sleep soundly tonight 😊

Be Blessed and . . .

Keep Looking Up ^ . . . His Best is Yet to Come!

  1. Better than a shovel, but that’s a LOT of work. I like your attitude, though, finding the positive in a challenging circumstance!

  4. how fun. Watch out for rookie snow and ice drivers (almost everyone down there). We got dumped on but I cheat with a skidsteer and snowblower attachment while sitting in a warm cab.
