Today’s wilderness wander began in lush deciduous forest by river’s roaring rapids . . . wound ever upward through silent, spruce scented boreal forest . . . finished 4,000 ft. above on alpine ridgeline, tinged with fall’s first reds.
Throughout life I’ve been blessed to travel and behold the wonders of 9 different countries on 3 different continents . . . yet . . awe-inspiring treks through Creation’s wilderness remains my favorite wonder genre.

I’m there with you Fred. That overlook shot…I felt the wonder. Partially because I have been above the tree line on a few different mountains, but even more great pictures of the scene before you.
