Wandering the vast wilderness reaches of The Last Frontier and the forest stretches of the Great Smoky Mountains are among my life’s greatest joys . . . not to mention, that after nearly six decades, I recently got to ‘milk’ a cow again.
A couple of days ago I went to check on a game camera set up along the creek that flows by our home. Rounding a bend I surprised a couple of local neighbors scoping it out. At my “Hello there!” they took off hightailing into the forest.
I’m aware 77 years on the planet has etched it’s toll on my appearance, but didn’t realize I was quite so scary looking. Must be like Indiana Jones once said, “It’s not the years, it’s the miles”.
“For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.” – Psalm 50:10
I am truly blessed beyond measure! May U B 2.
Nice! Did you hear about the cow that jumped over the barbed wire fence? It was an utter disaster!….I’d be scared of you too if you surprised me like that. Nothing like an old man sneaking up on you! Seriously great video/pics brother
