Frozen Wonder

It’s been a tad ‘chilly’ here in the Smokies lately. Folks here aren’t accustomed to lotsa’ snowflakes and ‘black ice’, or even regular ice other than ice cubes when the thermometer bounces around zero . . . it’s definitely not Alaska Virginia 😊

The magnificent winter wonderland surrounding our home up here in the mountains – down in the ‘holler’ – along the ‘crick’ silently instills a sense of wonder that calms freezing temps anxieties.

Today, watching drop-by-drop God sculpt a frozen waterfall masterpiece, an aura of peace enveloped me, and a quote shared with me by a pastor’s wife flashed to mind   . . .

The more you praise and celebrate God in your life, the more there is to celebrate.”

I stood mesmerized in frigid, worshipful awe, mindful of how undeservedly blessed I am, forever grateful for yet one more day of life He has granted me to celebrate.

This is the day the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.”

Ps.118:24

Stay warm, and . . .

Keep Looking Up ^ . . . His best is Yet to Come!
