Oceanfront Splendor

Like oceanfront property? Me too, and Alaska has 33,904 miles of it.

Yesterday my son Grant and I were treated to a bird’s eye view of fall’s splendor adorning Turnagain Arm’s shoreline hiking the mountainsides south of Anchorage . . . God’s fingerprints imprinted the vistas we savored together.

He gathers the waters of the sea into jars; He puts the deep into storehouses.”

Psalms 33:7

On the way back down we met a group of four other trekkers who, after we mentioned we had seen a fresh bear ‘deposit’ further up the trail, decided not to continue onward 😊

Keep Looking Up ^ . . . His best is Yet to Come!

  1. Here for only 2 more weeks Wynne before jumping on the jet back to the Smokies to hopefully sell our digs there and return to the Greatland to live out the remainder of my life’s journey among His mountain cathedrals here until heading for my eternal Home 🪽

  4. Ocean views ARE very nice, as I recall 8 years of living two blocks from Easton’s Beach (aka First Beach) in Newport, RI.
However, about I third of Alaska’s “ocean view” is actually ice! 🥶
Anchorage and parts around Cook Inlet are wonderful; from living a year in North Kenai.🤠
