“The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the people see His glory.” Psalm 97:6
Each day the This Day program on my computer displays pics taken on that day over the past 2 decades. Creation-scapes, special events, and times shared together with friends and family trigger fond memories I’ve been blessed to enjoy, and ominously remind me I’ve aged some . . . thumbing through my high school yearbook is hauntingly like reading the obituary column, and 77 now being the average lifespan lends credibility that . . . only the good die young😊.
One of today’s This Day pics was an aurora borealis/Big Dipper scene taken from the deck of our Alaska abode 6 years ago. Compared to the 2 spectacular professional photographer pics, you may notice mine appears slightly fuzzy . . . standing barefoot in my bathrobe at a balmy -35 degrees is responsible 😊.
No photograph could ever capture the indescribable beauty of aurora displays dancing across the heavens, setting them aglow. It’s one of the Last Frontier’s incredible wonders that never ceases to utterly astonish me, and justifies risking frostbite 😊
Gazing at the brightly lit star atop our Christmas tree, I got to a-musing . . . did the 3 wise men and shepherds sense the same mystical wonder in the brilliant starlight that illuminated the heavens lighting the birthplace of infant Jesus?
Despite all the darkness that exists in our world today, the Light of the world will forever prevail to dispel the darkest shadows of suffering cast by war, hate, violence, disease, poverty and prejudice in this life. Thank you Jesus . . . Happy Birthday!
From our home to yours, we wish you and yours an extra-special bright and blessed Christmas together.
Keep Looking Up ^ . . . His Best is Yet to Come!
