The Hand of God

World headline news, both at home and abroad, has become depressing. This ole ragamuffin is forever grateful he grew up in far more peaceable, collaborative, and nonviolent times. Creation’s wonders are my depression Go-To remedy. Climbing mountain cathedrals, wilderness wanders, cloud watching, and star gazing are among my favorite tonics.

Light from stars thousands of light years distant astounds me, simultaneously sensing my infinitesimal smallness and the universe’s infinite vastness. A light year is nearly 6 trillion miles. Traveling at light speed one could make 63 1/2 trips between Los Angles and New York in a single second . . . or . . . converting seconds to dollars, pay off our current National Debt in 5 seconds . . . call your Senator! 😊

Chandra X-ray Observatory is NASA’s Flagship-class space telescope launched July 23, 1999 aboard the Space Shuttle Columbia. A mere 16,000 light-years from Earth, it’s relatively our Milky Way next-door neighbor. In 2021 Chandra discovered pulsar PSR B1509-58 and captured this astonishing photograph.

Generally believed to be rapidly rotating neutron stars, pulsars emit pulses of radiation, especially radio waves, with a high degree of regularity. Pulsar B1509-58 is located at the base of the ‘palm’ in this cosmic nebula wind ‘hand’ . . . the hand of God ???

Discouraged by the news? God is infinitely bigger than any of our messes and remains ever in charge. Tonight consider clicking off MSNBC, CNN, Fox, BBC or whatever your preferred news channel . . . step outside . . . look up . . . and view HCN . . . Heaven Creation News silently broadcasting worldwide harmonious, inspirational, soul soothing serenity.

Keep Looking Up . . . His Best is Yet to Come!
