Blue Moon

Please forgive me . . . last evening my inveterate, juvenile spirit got the better of me.

High up in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, at a pull-off along the Foothills Parkway, I ‘mooned’ my spouse . . . well kinda’ 😊 . . . we had driven up there to watch the Blue Moon rise.

Big and bright, we sat together in silent awe beholding the mountains illuminated in tranquil, ethereal light . . . a panoramal masterpiece of Creation brushed in moon-glow.

The next such Blue Moon won’t occur for another 37 years. My astute calculations suggest the odds I’ll run out of birthdays before the opportunity to exercise my juvenile Blue Moon ‘mooning’ impulses arise again are truly ass-tronomical! 😊

The Good News . . . someday I’ll never have to muster up the breath and attempt to blow out the conflagration of candles on my birthday cake, or be subject to the urge of juvenile whims to aggravate others . . . did someone just whisper, “Thank Goodness!”😊

Then, where final birthdays are non-existent, I’ll be forever surrounded in the tranquil, ethereal glow of His magnificent masterpieces, and the wonders of His ceaseless love.

In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

John14:2

Keep Looking Up ^ . . . His Best is Yet to Come!
