Hi Y’all . . . practicin’ my Southern :),
The thermometer registered a frigid zero this morning. Our resident red squirrel (he has lotsa’ buds in the neighborhood) appeared to be praying, with tiny paws folded, for warmth. Below him one of our roaming ruffed grouse covey scratched in the snow for seeds. Sure thankful my Dad chose to place me here as a Homo sapiens, and not a furry Scurius vulgaris, or feathered Bonasa umbellus. Save for His amazing grace, I fear He might consider reclassifying me to a new genus species . . . Dufus problematica 🙂
Anticipating snow-birding in the Smokies is looking ever more cozy. Yet, waking to a magnificent pastel sunrise brushed over snowcaps, or gazing up at a blazing Aurora dancing across the dark night sky are unique, unmatched Greatland wonders I will truly miss. Then the incomprehensible thought hit me . . . someday in glory all this will be surpassed beyond our wildest imaginations . . . what an unfathomable, loving Lord is ours!
Be Blessed, and . . .
Keep Looking Up,
